The Play Clinic provides counselling for children, youth, adults, couples, and families.
The right candidates WILL be those who are EXCITED to work with children & FAMILIES. Who can work some EVENINGS and WEEKENDS, and who want to learn and further develop their skills in a team environment - need to be available during daytime hours at first, to learn the modalities and approaches we use.
Responsibilities:
MUST be able to work evenings 11-7pm &/or Weekends, etc.... working with children, youth & families
- Experience psychotherapy consultation, assessments, and/or treatment to individuals and/or couples
- Works from OR wants to learn evidence-based theoretical framework: Some of the models we use are Play therapy, IFS, EMDR, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Theraplay, EFT, Guided drawing, Clayfield therapy, Sandtray, Polyvagal theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, art therapy, etc..
- Keep organized and professional treatment records
- You will be working in a private practice capacity as an Independent Contractor / Self-Employed or an Employee (if an MSW RSW)
- You will be delivering psychotherapy and counseling services following the regulations of the College you are registered with
Qualifications and Requirements
- MSW or Master's degree in Psychotherapy, RP, RPQ
- Registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or College of Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Proof of Professional Liability Insurance
- Availability for a minimum 5 hours/week is necessary. More hours are available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 60 months
Pay: $70.00-$100.00 per hour
