COBS Bread is an international company operating bakeries in Canada, U.S, Australia and New Zealand. We bake from scratch, on site 7 days a week, using high quality ingredients. We offer freshly baked bread, pastries, and sweet and savoury treats.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Baker - Production Supervisor to be part of our team in our newest location in Orillia!
This role is vital in ensuring the consistent quality of baked goods, maintaining food safety standards, and optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for food industry excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic bakery environment committed to delivering exceptional products to our customers in a bakery that is highly involved in the community.
Duties
- Early start time of 3am
- Hands on Baking in all 3 of our stations - Bowls, Processing and Ovens
- Train and mentor staff on baking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and cost of goods sold.
Qualifications
- Strong background in kitchen operations, food handling, and food safety standards
- Previous restaurant experience or similar customer service background is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to grow into a supervisory role
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Salary Negotiable based on experience.
Full Time 40 hours per week
