We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on commercial vehicles using hand tools and power tools
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tires and related vehicle components
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely to lift and maneuver tires and wheels
- Diagnose tire-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions to customers
- Conduct safety checks to ensure proper tire pressure, alignment, and overall vehicle safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions or concerns
- Assist in sales activities by recommending suitable tire products and services to clients
Skills
- Dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of tire installation, repair, and replacement procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
