Job Summary
Love early mornings? This role is for you. The Holiday Inn Oakville @ Bronte is seeking a Part-Time Breakfast Buffet Line Cook to support our morning breakfast service on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Breakfast Line Cook is responsible for the preparation and execution of breakfast menu items in line with IHG brand standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring guests receive a consistent, high-quality breakfast experience each morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items including eggs “your way,” omelettes, and buffet offerings to specification
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards throughout service
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
- Work independently while supporting overall kitchen operations during breakfast service
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Support smooth service during peak breakfast periods
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a breakfast service environment (hotel breakfast buffet experience is preferred)
- Working knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques, including eggs and omelette preparation
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early morning shifts
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
