The Ideal Candidate:
Mechanically inclined with experience in shipping and receiving. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping and receiving. Unload and upload various items using a forklift and some physical lifting.
- Verify orders against purchase orders, and organize items in their proper sections.
- Order products from suppliers and generate purchase orders.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Follow all safety regulations and operational procedures in daily tasks.
- Other Parts Department related tasks as directed by Parts Manager.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of farm equipment and parts would be an asset.
- Speak English clearly. Strong communication and customer relations skills
- Strong math and reading comprehension skills
- General understanding of various functions of a distribution center
- Able to do physical work, with some heavy lifting.
- Ability to use a forklift or willingness to learn.
- Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred
- Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
- High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
