Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Summer Daycamp Social Media and Documentation staff to enhance our camp’s online presence and document our activities throughout the season.
This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop digital marketing skills while capturing the vibrant spirit of our summer programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, graphic design, and digital storytelling, with a strong understanding of marketing tools and platforms. This role is perfect for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies within a dynamic summer camp environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using Buffer.
- Create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content utilizing Canva to showcase camp activities and learning and classroom provocations
- Manage the documentation process by capturing photos and videos
- Write compelling captions, blog posts, and updates that align with SEO best practices to increase online visibility.
- Create social media education campaigns focusing on promoting the Reggio approach and social-emotional learning
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing.
Experience
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands, preferably within educational environments.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva, Buffer
- Familiarity with social media management on instagram, facebook, threads, youtube
- Experience creating engaging multimedia content for diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously during the summer season. This position offers a valuable opportunity to build your portfolio while contributing creatively to our summer daycamp program’s success.
