We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and style-focused Optometric Sales Associate / Frame Stylist to join our team!
This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, has an eye for style, and loves helping customers feel confident in their choices. You will work one-on-one with patients to help them find eyewear that complements their personal style, lifestyle, and vision needs while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Optical experience is an asset, but we are also interested in candidates with strong retail, fashion, hospitality, or customer service experience who are eager to learn. We are looking for someone who is personable, motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and create a friendly, positive experience from the moment they enter our optical
- Help patients select frames that complement their style, fit, comfort, lifestyle, and individual needs
- Build genuine connections with patients and provide personalized recommendations rather than a one-size-fits-all sales experience
- Educate patients on available frame and lens options after receiving appropriate training
- Confidently recommend products, upgrades, and eyewear solutions that provide value to the patient
- Assist with frame measurements, adjustments, repairs, fittings, and eyewear pickups as trained
- Process eyewear purchases and ensure patient information and orders are entered accurately
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing optical and frame gallery
- Stay current on eyewear trends, new frame collections, brands, and optical products
- Work closely with opticians, optometrists, and other team members to provide a seamless patient experience
- Assist with additional optical and clinic responsibilities as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail sales, fashion, hospitality, customer service, or optical experience
- A natural ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable
- A strong sense of style and an interest in fashion and eyewear trends
- Confidence recommending products and guiding customers through purchasing decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive, professional, and dependable attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to learn about frames, lenses, measurements, adjustments, and other aspects of the optical industry
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset but is not required
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage, with starting compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
