Sky High Roofing has been in business in the Victoria area for 17 years and we now have exciting opportunities for experienced and well rounded roofers.
We are looking for reliable, outgoing individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion to learn, people who can GIVE direction and adhere to the health and safety rules on site.
The Ideal candidate would be reliable, dependable, have knowledge of RCABC installation practices, a valid BC Driver's license, their own vehicle and hand tools.
What we require:
- 2+ years experience of asphalt sloped roof, and/or
- 3+ years experience in metal and/or torch on roofing methods
- Driver’s license is essential
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Ability to work and communicate with others
- Ability to lift heavy materials while following safety protocols
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to learn and follow our company safety policy
- Punctual, reliable, and bondable
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills

Duties:
- Install, repair, and replace roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new roofing materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Install or replace flashing, gutters, and downspouts
- Inspect roofs for damage and leaks
- Repair or replace damaged or missing shingles or tiles
- Apply waterproof coatings or sealants to protect roofs from moisture
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment

We are looking for someone who is looking for Full-Time, Permanent, or Sub-Contract Work.
Salary: $35.00 - 45.00 per hour, a competitive wage will be negotiated with the right candidate. Will also consider a sub-contract arrangement.
