Job Summary:
The Uniforms Coordinator is the primary team member-facing representative within the Uniforms Department and serves as the first point of contact for all uniform-related services. The Uniform Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of Porter's Uniform Program by coordinating uniform fittings, inventory management, distribution, onboarding support, and administrative activities.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal departments, vendors, and station leaders to deliver an exceptional team member experience while maintaining Porter's uniform standards and operational excellence.
The Uniforms Coordinator also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and provides operational support.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Team Member Experience

Deliver exceptional customer service by supporting all uniform-related inquiries.

Conduct professional uniform fittings and provide guidance on uniform standards, garment care, and ordering procedures.

Support new hire onboarding by presenting the Uniform Program and assisting with initial uniform allocations.
Uniform Operations

Coordinate the distribution, exchange, return, and replacement of uniforms across Porter's network.

Maintain accurate records of team member uniform allotments, sizing profiles, and distribution history.

Manage temporary ("On Loan") uniform inventory.
Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock organization.

Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and assist with inventory reporting and forecasting.
Operational Support

Support departmental projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.

Perform additional duties and provide operational support as assigned to meet business and operational requirements, including weekend coverage based on station needs.

Qualifications:
- College diploma or equivalent

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service position

Experience in working with computerized record keeping systems, accounting and billing procedures

Experience working with inventory systems

Accuracy with data entry

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS-Office products including Excel, & Word

Ability to carry garment bags, with ability to push/pull up to 50lbs

Ability to travel as required
