Location: Coaldale, AB
Position: Financial Service Associate, Full-Time
The Financial Service Associate is a key role that serves as the first point of contact for 1st Choice Savings members. The successful individual will help members with their financial transactions while proactively identifying their current and/or future financial needs. This role will be part of a team where the culture of member service delivery is first and foremost.
What You’ll Do:
Engage and deliver the 1st Choice Savings brand promise by delivering consistent brand experience to members:
- Greet members, process financial transactions and participate in the daily activities of the branch to maintain a “member-centric” environment.
- Contribute to the team’s sales and goals while maintaining a high standard of operational effectiveness, positive member experience and optimal sales performance.
- Promote and build awareness of 1st Choice Savings in the local community and within networking groups.·
Who You Are:
- Post-secondary education in a related field (Business, Finance, Accounting, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience. Financial services industry experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to promote the credit union vision.
- Self-motivated with the desire to achieve a high standard of excellence.
- A passion for helping people and being part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understands financial concepts and has digital acumen.
