Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator and Press Brake Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and programming CNC laser cutting machines and press brake equipment to produce high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in blueprint reading, and experience with various machining and fabrication tools. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production of parts according to specifications.
- Program and set up CNC laser equipment, including adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality inspection and verification of parts.
- Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of CNC machinery to ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with material handling using cranes or forklifts when necessary for loading/unloading raw materials or finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes when required, ensuring product quality meets specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC laser cutting, programming, and operation.
- Experience with press brake machines for metal forming.
- Knowledge of plasma cutting, CNC lathe, CNC milling machines, and welding processes is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining tools, hand tools, calipers, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Familiarity with crane operation and forklift handling preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently and perform routine maintenance tasks.
