Overview
TBC Indoor Go Kart Racing is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Go-Kart Mechanic to join our team at TBC Indoor Go Karting venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of our GAS POWERD go-kart fleet. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about mechanics and motorsports to contribute to a fun and dynamic environment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of small engine repair, electrical systems, and safety protocols to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine engine repairs and inspections and preventative maintenance on all go-karts to ensure safety and reliability
- Diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs efficiently, including engine repairs, brake systems, steering components, and electrical wiring
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist with the setup, testing, and calibration of new or repaired go-karts before they are returned to operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical problems quickly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational procedures
Experience
- Prior experience in small engine repair, motorcycle or ATV maintenance, or similar mechanical roles is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with safety standards related to amusement rides or recreational vehicles is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship
