Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations at all times
- Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience, including addressing special requests or concerns
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
