The incumbent is responsible for safely operating dishwashing equipment, related tasks and general cleaning duties, in accordance with Company and legislative/regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
Job Duties: * Safely and effectively operate commercial dishwasher equipment, including scraping, stacking and putting away dishes, glass wear and cutlery. * Perform routine cleaning of kitchen equipment, fixtures and appliances. * Remove garbage and breakdown cardboard boxes for recycling. * Clean floors and walls, cabinets and food preparation areas to ensure a sanitary environment which passes all health and safety regulations and inspections. * Assist with unpacking and storing of incoming groceries. * Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliances, and legislation regarding health and safety, food preparation standards, and Company policies and procedures. * Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of professionalism by following the Company dress code and/or wearing the Company uniform. * Attends staff meetings and mandatory training, as required. * Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions * Regularly lift, and push/pull equipment, up to 50 pounds. * Daily exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. * Bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for at least 3 hours per day. * Walk and stand on a variety of surfaces for at least 3 hours per day. * Use of kitchen cleaning chemicals typically used in the industry.
