Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior/Exterior Painter to join our team. This role involves applying paint, coatings, and finishes to residential, commercial, and industrial properties, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, restoration, and related skills. Experience working at heights by use of scaffolding and/or genie lifts. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing various hand tools and power tools, while demonstrating excellent time management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or other tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Perform restoration work on older or damaged surfaces to restore them to their original condition.
- Use rigging techniques and scaffolding safely for high or hard-to-reach areas.
- Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Follow safety protocols consistently while working with industrial painting equipment or hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintain a clean work environment during and after project completion to ensure safety and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting.
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and the ability to read schematics or blueprints is preferred.
- Familiarity with carpentry, rigging, caulking, and the use of hand tools and power tools is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Fall Arrest certificate is required.
- Experience working at heights, working with scaffolding and genie lifts.
- Excellent time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
