Position Overview
We are looking for an independent, highly detailed Restoration Technician to join our local team in a permanent, full-time capacity. In this role, you will be on the front lines of helping people recover from a disaster. Your day-to-day will involve assessing, inventorying, carefully packing, and restoring affected items, as well as interacting directly with affected policyholders to deliver compassionate, top-tier service.
Schedule
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: Standard daytime hours (typically Monday to Friday), with occasional flexibility required based on emergency project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Assessment & Packouts: Travel to residential and commercial loss sites to document, inventory, and carefully pack affected textiles and electronics.
- Contents Restoration: Utilize CRDN’s specialized cleaning systems and processes to restore items to their pre-loss condition.
- Customer Care: Interact with homeowners and business owners going through stressful situations, providing clear communication and supportive customer service.
- Inventory Control: Maintain high attention to detail while barcoding, tracking, and managing clients' personal belongings.
What We Are Looking For
- Clean Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for operating company vehicles.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous care when handling, inventorying, and treating delicate or damaged items.
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Empathetic, professional communication skills when working directly with clients on-site.
- Independence: The ability to stay on task and manage responsibilities efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
- Willingness to Learn: Openness to being trained on new technical restoration tasks, specialized equipment, and inventory software.
- Experience: Previous experience in restoration, cleaning, inventory management, or field services is a strong asset, but we are willing to train the right individual.
