Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Dentist to provide high-quality dental care on a temporary basis. This position could be full time or part time and includes evenings and some weekends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience working in diverse clinical settings. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing to practice dentistry in BC.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues
- Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental treatments
- Manage patient records
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Communicate treatment plans effectively to patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Maintain sterilization standards and adhere to infection control protocols
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance and post-treatment care
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
