Marketing Intern (Full-Time, 4–8 Months) | Burnaby, BC
Are you ready to take your first big step into the marketing world—where your ideas matter and your work creates real impact? iData Research is looking for a Marketing Co-op to join us during our exciting next phase of growth.
You’ll play a key role in identifying new high-potential markets, supporting lead generation, and creating content that reaches thousands. This is more than an internship—it’s a chance to develop hands-on skills, shape strategy, and gain exposure to real business decisions. High-performing interns may be offered a permanent role at the end of their term.
Location: Onsite – Burnaby, BC
Duration: 4 or 8 months (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)
Pay: $20-$25/hour
What You’ll Do
- Support marketing & sales through lead generation, demand generation, and database cleanup
- Write and develop content for LinkedIn campaigns, ads, and other marketing materials
- Pitch creative ad angles and messaging tailored to various niches
- Collaborate on strategy to optimize content across all digital platforms
- Engage with online audiences and foster meaningful interactions
- Conduct in-depth market research on industries, competitors, and product trends
- Assist with medical device industry research to help shape marketing/sales strategies
- Update CRM records (Zoho) with companies and decision-makers
- Research & write content for iData's blog/newsletter
- Contribute to weekly activity reporting for the marketing team
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proactive and creative thinker with a passion for marketing
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with CRM tools like Zoho
