Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick is seeking a creative, organized and digitally confident Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build experience across marketing campaigns, social media, digital content, website updates, creative production and event support.
Working closely with the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will help turn plans and ideas into effective, engaging content. The successful candidate does not need to be a specialist in every area. We are looking for someone with a strong marketing foundation, practical digital skills, sound judgment and a willingness to learn.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day marketing and communications activities across organizational programs, campaigns, events and initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of social media content, including content planning, scheduling, publishing and basic performance reporting.
- Create, edit and adapt digital and print materials using established brand standards and templates.
- Capture and edit short-form video and photography for campaigns, events, social media and organizational storytelling.
- Update and maintain website content, ensuring information remains accurate, current and consistent.
- Assist with campaign launches, email communications, event promotion and partner deliverables.
- Coordinate content requirements, timelines, approvals and production tasks with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Maintain organized digital files, creative assets, photographs, videos and content archives.
- Monitor marketing activity and support the preparation of basic campaign and digital performance reports.
- Contribute ideas during campaign, content and creative planning discussions.
- Provide on-site marketing and content support at selected events and organizational activities.
- Complete other related marketing and communications duties as required.
What you bring
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
- Two to three years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, digital content or a related field. Strong written communication, organizational and time-management skills.
- Confidence working across digital platforms and the ability to learn new systems and tools.
- Experience with social media platforms and content-management systems.
- Familiarity with graphic design, photography or video-editing tools. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or comparable tools is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of brand consistency.
- Ability to manage several priorities, meet deadlines and respond constructively to feedback.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to attend occasional evening or weekend events as required.

- Campaigns, events and programs receive reliable production and coordination support.

- The coordinator continues to grow their skills and takes increasing ownership of assigned work.
