Title: Communications Intern

Position Summary:
407 ETR is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic PR student to support the day-to-day work of our Communications and Government Relations team. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience supporting communications that reach customers, employees, media and community stakeholders across the GTA.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the intern will assist with the planning, development and execution of internal and external communications initiatives, providing support across a wide range of projects—from content creation to campaign coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily and monthly media and social media monitoring, including Media Rating Points (MRP), tracking coverage, flagging relevant issues and preparing summary reports
The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, possess strong writing skills and come equipped with a “can-do” attitude. Other qualifications include:
Familiar with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok
