Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of lumber throughout the Mill and production processes.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in millwork dimensions
- Support carpentry and woodworking tasks, including trimming, sanding, and assembling wood pieces
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in warehouse operations
- Follow safety protocols when handling power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience working in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and handling warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices preferred
- Background in carpentry or woodwork demonstrates strong craftsmanship skills
- Ability to work safely around machinery and follow detailed instructions diligently
