Hi there! We're [untitled] Esthetics Studio located in the vibrant Inglewood area of Calgary. We are a new all-inclusive, vegan, non-toxic, bright & fun nail & treatment bar. Our mission was to create the most neutral but beautiful space, free of toxins and harmful chemicals- ensuring anyone, and EVERYONE can enjoy a little self-care no matter their lifestyle or needs.
We spent a lot of time curating the best seating, desks, and products to give not only the client the best experience, but also ensuring our technicians are well beyond taken care of. Our desks and seating are ergonomic, our lights are only LED, our products are all HEMA free and vegan. & as we continue to grow, we would love to offer the best health benefits possible to ensure your body is kept thriving (as we all know this industry is HARD on our bodies to say the least).
....We're also fully licensed, and have TONS of options for our clients to enjoy. From complimentary sodas, teas, and specialty coffees... To hand picked local beers/ciders/wines, and even an entire alcohol-free beer & wine menu. Plus we offer snacks if the client would like a little something to hold them over to lunch or dinner. This menu is constantly changing, allowing us to utilize local Inglewood breweries and catering making sure it's always new, fresh, and fun!
Position Overview: Straight up- if you're a great person, have a clientele, and want a beautiful space to do manicure/pedicure/artificial nails, we're your gal(s).
Ultimately, we understand that if you've been in this industry for any amount of time- you know how stressful it is finding a new, solid place to bring your clients. You're either forced to work hours you don't want to work, do services you don't want to do, and ultimately- the business claims the clients as "theirs" and never cares for you to succeed beyond their walls.
....Quite frankly we're f****ing tired of it.
Us girls at [untitled] have been in the industry for 10+ years EACH, and know this all-too-well. We're tired. We don't want that life for us, for you- for any esthetician. That's literally why we decided to open [untitled]. We WANT to be flexible, kind, understanding, and adaptable. You need a different type of chair? We gotchu. You want a specific brand of skincare (as long as it's healthy of course)- we gotchu. We're open to what you need & want, and ultimately- if our staff are happy & taken care of, the business will succeed. But that comes *second* to our staff.
So to put it super blunt: We want someone who has a clientele, who is looking to transfer from wherever they are, for whatever reason, and come join us on our mission of changing the standards of this industry. You're currently a home-based esthetician and are tired of working alone? Perfect. You work somewhere you feel drained of everyday? Perfect- we won't drain you. You love where you work, but just want more freedom/a neutral workspace/to be able to offer drinks? Perfect.
We want you.
Requirements:
- Do manicures/pedicures/artificial nails- whatever your specialty is (or if you offer sugaring/waxing/facials/lashes- we have 2 bright treatment rooms as well).
- Give us a weekly or monthly schedule you want to work
- Work those hours/whatever you want- and service your clients just like usual- but in [untitled] instead.
- Be a nice person
- Enjoy what you do
- Be willing to speak up when you want/need something. Or else we will sense it regardless, and just poke around till we figure it out.
