Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Administer medication reminders according to care plans.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities to promote social engagement.
- Follow care plans and document services provided accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a caregiving team.
- Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to lift or assist with mobility needs; physical stamina is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
