The Logistics (Please Read Carefully):
- Location: Our main kitchen facility is located in North Hanmer, but this position requires regular travel to venues and client properties all over Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas (including Valley East, Chelmsford, Azilda, Capreol, Coniston, and beyond).
- Schedule: Event-based, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Commute & Travel: Because we service off-site venues with varied end times, reliable personal transportation is highly recommended.
What You’ll Do:
As a Catering Server, you are the face of our business on-site. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure every event is logistically flawless and professionally executed.
- Logistics & Set-Up: Unload transport vehicles and set up event sites with precision. This includes setting up tables, chairs, place settings, professional buffet displays, and specialized food-service equipment.
- Execute: Deliver exceptional, attentive service during the event, handling guest interactions with professionalism and serving food and beverages according to our standards.
- Site Care: Oversee the cleanliness of the venue and serving areas, ensuring all workstation and guest spaces remain sanitary and presentable.
- Tear-Down: Efficiently clear tables, scrape dishes, manage post-event equipment cleanup, and assist in loading everything back into our vehicles for transport.
What You Bring:
- Solid Fundamentals: Proven experience in front-of-house service or event catering with a strong grasp of professional hospitality standards.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for long shifts, move quickly, and lift up to 40 lbs safely during loading and unloading.

Required Skills & Training:
- Prior experience in front-of-house hospitality, serving, or banquet operations.
- Smart Serve certification (or equivalent liquor service training).
- Safe food handling knowledge.
- Ability to stand and move for the entirety of a shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
Asset Skills & Training:
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- High attention to detail and aesthetic display layout.
- Strong communication skills.
- WHMIS training.

Pay: $17.60-$18.75 per hour
