We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about connecting exceptional people with meaningful careers. As a strategic partner to hiring leaders and HR Advisors, you'll play a key role in attracting the scientists, engineers, trades professionals, project managers, technical specialists and corporate professionals who make SRC's work possible.
What you'll do:

Lead full-cycle recruitment from workforce planning through onboarding.

Partner with leaders to develop tailored recruitment strategies for technical, scientific, operational and corporate roles.

Source exceptional talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, AI-enabled recruitment tools and innovative sourcing techniques.

Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism and relationship-building.

Develop engaging job postings and recruitment marketing content that showcases SRC as an employer of choice.

Represent SRC at career fairs, networking events, campus recruitment initiatives and community outreach activities.

Coordinate interviews, offers, references, relocation support and onboarding activities.

Support workforce planning initiatives by translating future talent needs into recruitment strategies.

Champion equitable, inclusive and accessible hiring practices while supporting Indigenous recruitment initiatives.
What you'll bring:

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

CPHR designation or working toward designation is preferred.

Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including significant full-cycle recruitment experience.

Experience recruiting professional, technical, scientific or industrial positions is considered an asset.

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems and AI-enabled recruitment technologies.

Excellent communication, relationship-building and organizational skills.

The ability to manage multiple recruitment projects while delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring leaders.
