As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers for the inspection, diagnosis and repair of equipment sold by our company (lifts, tire machines, wheel balancers, alignment systems). You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by offering fast and efficient technical solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Train and advise customers on the proper use of equipment.
2. Conduct annual inspections and repairs of equipment in the field.
3. Diagnosing technical problems, including the use of computer diagnostics.
4. Ensure proactive communication with customers to identify defects and coordinate repairs.
5. Efficiently manage the inventory of parts and tools of the service truck.
6. Maintain regular communication with the dispatching team to optimize field operations.
7. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and operational concerns on automotive lift equipment.
8. Look up repair parts in manuals and determine parts & labour hours required;
9. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
10. Ensure all safety precautions are followed.
11. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Diploma of electromechanics or equivalent.
2. Experience in automotive equipment repair (an asset).
3. Basic knowledge of computer science (Office Suite, Outlook, Teams).
4. Strong diagnostic and technical problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
6. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
7. Organization, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
SPECIFICITY OF THE ROLE:
1. Availability to work outside of regular hours in the event of an emergency.
2. Travel to remote areas in Ontario if possible.
3. Ability to work at heights and lift loads up to 50 lbs.

Experience:
- Working with Automotive Hoists: 3 years (required)
- Automotive repair/Diagnosing/Repair: 1 year (required)
