GeneNeer is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing biotechnology team as Entry-Level Plant Tissue Culture Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in plant biotechnology, tissue culture, and agricultural innovation.
At GeneNeer, we focus on advancing plant biotechnology solutions through tissue culture, molecular biology, and applied research in crop improvement.
Responsibilities
· Assist with plant tissue culture and micropropagation activities
· Prepare culture media, stock solutions, and laboratory materials
· Perform subculturing and transfer of plant material using sterile techniques
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory and growth areas
· Monitor cultures for contamination and plant development
· Accurately record laboratory observations and data
· Follow laboratory safety and aseptic procedures
· Support research and production projects as needed
Qualifications
· Diploma or degree in Plant Science, Biotechnology, Biology, Agriculture, or a related field
· Basic laboratory experience is an asset but not required
· Interest in plant biotechnology and tissue culture
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
· Good teamwork and communication skills
· Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced laboratory environment
