Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Worker to join our team and contribute to various building and infrastructure projects. This role involves hands-on work in construction sites, assisting with the development of residential, commercial, or industrial structures. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, or loaders as needed (training provided)
- Perform paving tasks including laying asphalt or concrete surfaces
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards at all times
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, roofing, or finishing work
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
- Support team members in meeting project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for necessary skills such as heavy equipment operation and paving
- Knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
