Account Manager (Agri Marketing)
Located in the village of St. Jacobs, Ontario, Effective Edge Communications is a full-service B2B marketing agency specializing in the manufacturing and agricultural industries. Our team develops strategic marketing programs, compelling content, and impactful campaigns that help our clients strengthen their brands, connect with customers, and drive growth.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our collaborative team of marketers, strategists, and creatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the agricultural industry and experience developing strategic marketing initiatives for agricultural, heavy equipment, or manufacturing-focused businesses.
As the primary relationship lead for key accounts, you will work closely with clients to understand their business goals, identify marketing opportunities, and guide the development of annual marketing plans and campaigns. You will play a central role in strategic planning, client communication, campaign direction, and high-level project oversight, partnering closely with our creative and production teams to bring ideas to life.
We are seeking someone who can think strategically, build strong long-term client relationships, and provide leadership and direction across marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Finding new clients, developing strong relationships & strategizing their next moves
- Building and managing strong client relationships as a trusted marketing advisor
- Leading strategic marketing discussions and identifying opportunities for growth
- Developing annual marketing plans, campaign strategies, and communication plans
- Collaborating with internal project managers, creative team, and content teams to guide project execution
- Providing strategic direction on branding, campaigns, websites, video, advertising, and content initiatives
- Supporting clients in understanding marketing performance, priorities, and long-term objectives
- Helping shape messaging and positioning for agricultural and manufacturing audiences
- Contributing to new ideas, campaign concepts, and creative direction
- Ensuring projects align with client goals, budgets, timelines, and overall marketing strategy
What You Bring:
Industry & Marketing Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, account management, or client strategy roles
- Experience working within the agricultural industry or marketing to agricultural audiences is strongly preferred
- Agency experience is considered a strong asset
- Understanding of the manufacturing, heavy equipment, or agri-business sectors is highly valuable
Strategic Thinking
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, branding, campaign planning, and customer communication
- Ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing initiatives
- Experience developing annual marketing plans and campaign strategies
Relationship Management
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence leading client meetings, presenting ideas, and building long-term partnerships
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal creative teams
Creative & Marketing Knowledge
- Understanding of digital marketing, website development, content marketing, video, print, and advertising
- Ability to contribute to creative direction, messaging, and campaign planning
- Copywriting experience is considered an asset
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our St. Jacobs, Ontario office, typically working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasionally, attendance at video or photo shoots may be required, including outdoor environments such as farms, equipment yards, manufacturing facilities, or job sites. Safety footwear may be required at certain locations.
