Are you:
- A certified OLS Surveyor or working towards your certification?
- Able to interpret engineering drawings?
- Able to provide initial site layout and ongoing monitoring?
- Able to perform layout of lots, roads, foundations, benchmarking, access roads, etc.?
- Able to perform topographic survey of original ground, post-stripping, as built, and stockpiles?
- Able to provide detailed reports and share the findings?
- Able to work with CAD files?
- Flexible in your schedule to work in a construction atmosphere, going site-to-site, and possibly even work in some remote locations?
- Well versed in your presentation, both on paper and in person?
- Able to develop and deliver in-house training programs on surveying?
Do you have:
- A minimum of three (3) years prior work experience in construction layout and surveying?
- Experience using a total station (preferably Leica) and GPS systems?

The position will offer a company vehicle; therefore, applicants must have a valid G driver's license, along with a clean driver's abstract (which will be requested upon during the employment offer process).
Work will take place on active construction sites where you will be exposed to:
- Mud, rain, snow, heat/humidity, cold temperatures, etc.
- Carrying survey equipment to/from the vehicle to sites, setting up and dismantling equipment, and ensuring that equipment is monitored when on site.
This is an office and site based position. The office is located in Burlington, Ontario and the sites vary in geography across Ontario.
There is a requirement that the successful candidate be able to work remotely for multiple days at a time away from home.
