We are an established, locally owned dental office in need of an energetic, upbeat and professional person to fill our Dental Hygienist position on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We're looking for a dedicated team player to help us take care of our valued clients in a productive and fast-paced environment. This is a part-time, temporary contract position with the potential for ongoing contract every summer.
The responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist include: performing dental hygiene procedures to provide dental care to patients in accordance with established clinical standards; operating and maintaining hand held instruments and other equipment utilized during procedures; preparing electronic reports required to document procedures and results; working in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing as Member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
*Ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist, patient and other team members
*Excellent communication and time management skills
*Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and maintain patient flow
*Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs
