Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized CCC/FAC Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities related to water, sanitary, and storm infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring field operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and field activities for maintenance related to:
- Watermain systems
- Sanitary sewer systems
- Storm sewer systems
- Schedule and coordinate watermain testing, including pressure testing, disinfection, and commissioning activities.
- Review testing reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise field crews to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and municipal representatives.
- Monitor project progress and address scheduling conflicts or operational issues.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety regulations, and municipal specifications.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating or supervising municipal underground infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of watermain, sanitary, and storm sewer construction and maintenance practices.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and technical reports.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with municipal infrastructure commissioning and watermain testing.
- Familiarity with Alberta municipal standards and specifications.
- Experience leading field crews and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
