Transport Driver (Class 3 with Air Brakes)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to Close
About the Role
As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. The majority of vehicles handled require a Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement, and experience with commercial and heavy-duty vehicles is essential. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Transport & Operations
- Transport commercial vehicles to and from customers and vendors.
- Operate vehicles that require a Class 3 licence with air brakes, including medium-duty and commercial trucks.
- Secure vehicles properly and follow all applicable transportation regulations.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation laws and safety standards.
- Report any mechanical concerns, damages, or safety issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate transport and delivery documentation.
Dealership Support
- Assist with vehicle staging, parking, and organization on the lot when required.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, sales, and service teams regarding delivery schedules.
- Represent Abenante Motor Group professionally when interacting with customers and partners.
Requirements
Licensing & Certification
- Valid Class 3 driver’s licence (required).
- Air Brake Endorsement (required).
- Clean driving record and strong safety history (driver abstract required).
Experience
- Experience driving commercial vehicles is required.
- Familiarity with medium-duty trucks, diesel vehicles, and fleet units is a strong asset.
- Experience transporting commercial or work vehicles preferred.
