Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components following detailed schematics and instructions
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks and site cleanup to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Gain exposure to HVAC systems, carpentry tasks, and basic construction practices relevant to plumbing projects
- Follow all safety protocols diligently and report hazards or incidents promptly
Experience
- No prior professional plumbing experience required; however, construction or handyman experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems or carpentry is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong desire to learn the plumbing trade with a proactive attitude towards skill development
- Valid driver’s license for occasional commercial driving responsibilities is beneficial but not required initially
