We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Diagnose issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify repairs needed for vehicles and equipment.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, electrical system troubleshooting, and system calibrations.
- Repair and replace components on cars.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized diagnostic equipment to complete repairs accurately.
- Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting, electrical work, welding operations, and machinery handling to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals to execute precise repairs or assembly tasks.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status or recommended maintenance.
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background.
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting for complex systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software confidently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in various environments.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems combined with experience in maintenance or assembly tasks.
