We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Caterer to join our team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food for various events and functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to event specifications and quality standards
- Supervise and coordinate food service operations during events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Manage food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
- Lead and oversee kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and service protocols
- Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served following proper safety procedures
- Collaborate with event coordinators to plan menus that meet client needs and dietary restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils throughout the event
- Serve food to guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer service
Experience
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Experience managing teams within the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Previous restaurant or kitchen management experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to oversee staff effectively
- Familiarity with the food handling process, serving techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Prior experience working in the food industry or hospitality field will be considered an asset
