The Job
We are hiring a full-time, dependable Service Plumber or 4th-Year Plumbing Apprentice with experience in a wide range of plumbing service work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, responding to service calls, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs and installations in both residential and commercial settings.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with customers, and consistently delivers high-quality results. A strong understanding of safety practices, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently are essential.
This role involves working across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and service work. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be bondable, and pass security clearance requirements. Availability for on-call work is required.
What you’ll bring
- All applicants must have a valid driver’s license; proof of a valid driver's license will be required. A company vehicle may be provided for travel to job sites.
- Journeyperson Plumber certification or currently registered as a 4th-Year Plumbing Apprentice
- Experience performing a wide range of plumbing service work
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent) with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret plans, work orders, and project requirements
- Experience using plumbing power tools and hand tools, including drills, snakes, and sewer equipment
- Physical ability to lift materials and perform demanding tasks as required
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Must reside locally within Nova Scotia
- Must supply personal hand tools
Requirements
- 3–4 years of plumbing service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass security clearance requirements
- Availability for monthly on-call rotations, including weekends as needed
- High School (required)

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monthly on-call rotation required, including weekends as needed
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
