The Maintenance Millright will be responsible for performing Inspection, repair and troubleshooting of plant equipment and process instruments, general building and property maintenance. Maintain HVAC, boiler, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, conveyers and mechanical systems. Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Trouble shooting of plants instrumentations and process equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Minor equipment fabrication.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Work with site-wide building maintenance to ensure compliance to any construction, renovation or updates.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain various electrical components, appliances and equipment in accordance with pertinent codes, the preventative maintenance program and departmental procedures.
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and related equipment.

Millwright License
- Class B Refrigeration License an asset
- Ability to use a TIG welding machine for SS parts and equipment an asset.
- Minimum 5 year experience in the operation and maintenance of food processing, nutritional product or cosmetic manufacturing equipment
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing
- Knowledge and ability to work on 24v DC and up to 600v systems and equipment.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Able to create alternative solutions to problems
- Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure in fast paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 75lb
- Overtime as required
- Works in both hot and cold environments
