Line Cook/ Sushi Cook/ Kitchen Helper
Status: Full or Part Time
Position Information
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Line Cook learns, prepares, and creates innovative and signature dishes served at Yuugi Izakaya. The Line Cook contributes to the guest experience by creating memorable dishes that play with local flavors of the season, freshly imported ingredients, and new inspirations. In this role, you are encouraged to explore your creativity while managing inventory and maintaining safe and healthy kitchen and food handling practices.

Job Duties:
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Able to Wash and Operate Dishwashing Machine
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Job Requirements
1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen
Ability to recreate dishes following house recipes to house standards of taste, texture, temperature and presentation
A genuine passion for sushi, Asian culinary art, flavors and Japanese cuisine
Open to novice line cook, sushi cooks who are willing to learn
Pay: $17.60 per hour
