We are seeking an experienced and motivated Roofing Estimator to support our growing workload across a variety of roofing projects. This role involves preparing accurate, detailed quotations while building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre‑bid and post‑bid meetings as required
- Prepare fast, accurate, and comprehensive pricing for a wide range of roofing projects
- Produce detailed roof replacement quotations and budget presentation reports
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documentation to ensure full scope coverage
- Assess roof types, estimated ages, and identify current or potential short‑ and long‑term issues
- Visit job sites to gather information and verify project requirements
- Maintain and manage a directory of product suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, engineers, and suppliers
- Participate in handover and production meetings to ensure smooth project transitions
- Communicate proactively and professionally throughout the tender and bidding process
- Support business development by maintaining existing client relationships and developing new ones
- Carry out additional duties as required
About You
- Proven experience estimating roofing projects
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
- Commercially aware and solutions‑focused approach to problem solving
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
