Are you passionate about cats and dogs? This might be the right position for you!
You must be able to get dirty, as taking care and exercising animals is dirty work!
This includes Cleaning their kennels, washing their dishes, and yes poop-scooping!
We are looking for someone who has good customer service, is outgoing with the clients and is loving and friendly with our furry guests!
We are looking for someone who works well under pressure, who doesn't get overwhelmed easily and who works well on their own as well as part of a team.
This position is a lot of hard work but also very rewarding!
Must be comfortable handling all types of dogs. (breed, size etc)
Must have patience while handling all animals and adapt to their needs and personalities. Must be very aware of the pets in care and how they are feeling, paying close attention to their comfort level in all types of weather conditions.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts both day and evening as well as weekdays and weekends. *Please do not apply if you are not available for all shifts including weekends!* This position is not suitable for students as we need someone for day shifts during the week. Morning shifts start at 6:00am and evening shifts end at 6:30 pm. You must be available for both.
We care for pets all year round so need someone who is willing to also work holidays.
Animal/kennel experience is a bonus.
This is a part time position UP to 25 hrs per week, with chances to pick up more hours on busier days.
