About the Role
Century 21 Assurance Realty Ltd. is looking for highly organized, focused, motivated, and enthusiastic Licensed Property Managers to join our energetic and expanding team! We are offering full employment as well as independent contractor opportunities in Kamloops, Vernon, and Kelowna
Job Summary
- To provide Licensed Property Management services to a diverse portfolio of residential rental properties, including single family homes and multi-family developments.
Salary:
- Employee: $60,000 - $100,000/year ((base salary plus bonuses based on performance and profitability).
- Competitive commission splits for independent contractors.
Job Responsibilities
- Business development and sales working to build and acquire new doors and properties to manage.
- Tenant placement, including conducting showings of vacant units, screening/qualifying potential tenants, lease preparation, coordinating the payment of deposits, and move-in inspections.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of C21 Assurance’s property portfolio including communicating with investors, inspecting vacant units, ensuring vacant properties are rent-ready.
- Monitor, manage, and ensure compliance with regards to rent increases, lease renewals, the release of security deposits, serving RTB notices and any other regulated licensed activity.
- Work collaboratively with all C21 Assurance’s team members and departments including maintenance, business development, compliance, marketing, accounting, and administration.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of C21 Assurance’s tenant portfolio including responding and resolving tenant complaints, and ensuring tenant compliance with RTB rules and regulations and lease terms.
- Working with potential C21 Assurance’s investors towards securing management contracts and assisting them through RPM’s onboarding processes.
- Managing RTB claims including filing, preparing evidentiary packages, service notices, and attending hearings on behalf of C21 Assurance’s investors.
What You Bring
- Have a strong history of business development and sales.
- Hold a Property Management license in good standing as per the requirements of the BCFSA.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the property management industry.
- Be well versed with the Residential Tenancy Act.
- Be self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
- Can work independently but is also a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with a keen focus on detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be willing to learn and master our advanced technology and task management software.
- Be willing and excited to grow with a team.
- Love to learn and problem solve.
