Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Steel Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining steel roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to ensure high-quality roofing solutions. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut steel roofing materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install steel roofing panels according to blueprints and project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weather resistance
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws for various tasks
- Assist with site preparation, including framing and carpentry work as needed
- Conduct inspections for quality control throughout the installation process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Must have steel roofing experience
- Familiarity with hand tools, caulking techniques, and heavy lifting procedures
- Experience working at heights and on scaffolding or ladders is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical endurance
Pay: $20.97-$42.43 per hour
