Inbound Flatbed Dispatcher – Load Booking
Location: Milton, ON | Full-Time, Permanent
Canadian Flatbeds Ltd. is seeking an experienced Inbound Flatbed Dispatcher with load booking experience to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will coordinate inbound shipments, manage drivers, and ensure smooth daily operations using transportation software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book and dispatch loads efficiently.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and carriers for smooth operations.
- Maintain compliance with DOT and provincial/state regulations.
- Prepare reports and communicate professionally with internal teams and clients.
- Support team members as needed, including backup coverage outside regular hours.
Requirements:
- 2+ years flatbed dispatch experience with load booking responsibilities.
- Experience with logistics software (Load Link, DAT Board, Fleet Manager, Border Connect, or similar).
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of transportation laws in Canada and the USA.
- Heavy haul experience is an asset.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required)
