EXPERIENCED MECHANIC
LOCATION: SASKATOON, SK
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province.
Responsibilities:
· Experience working with commercial equipment, machinery and vehicles
· Provide vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs
· Test repaired equipment for proper performance
· Accurate completion of work orders and time cards
· Schedule and prioritize work needed on equipment
· Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies
· Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
· Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
· Shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2-years experience required
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license but valid class 1A is an asset
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
· Must be mechanically inclined
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
· Must have own tools
