Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and bodywork, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. Duties
- Repair and restore vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to perform body repairs, dent removal, and panel replacements
- Assess vehicle damage accurately to determine necessary repairs and parts needed
- Perform sanding, grinding, welding, and painting as required for complete vehicle restoration
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols during repair procedures and handling of tools and materials
- Straightening bent frames using specialized equipment.
- Sanding, Filing and priming the repaired surfaces to prepare them for painting.
Experience
- Experience or Automotive body repair background is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment used in auto body work
- Experience with automotive repair processes including dent removal, panel alignment, welding, and painting
- Relevant training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- This job involves manual labour and requires physical stamina.
