Good Dog has an immediate opening for a Dog Groomer in our Port Moody location. This is not an entry level position, and 2+ years of professional grooming experience is a requirement.
The Dog Groomer is responsible for providing services as booked to grooming clients in a caring
and compassionate fashion.

Days: Sun-Thur
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time
Pay: base hourly plus commission on each dog groomed

Responsibilities:
- Complete grooms of scheduled pets
- Ensure you are adhering to the expectations of care and attention to detail
- Continuously remain engaged and passionate in the line of work
- Ensure the wellbeing of the dogs in our care
- Ensure clients receive excellent customer service
- Recommend Add On Services as needed
- Develop strong relationships with clients
- Maintain hygiene of grooming spaces and equipment
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience providing grooming services to pets
- Animal CPR considered an asset
- Certificate in dog grooming considered an asset
- Proven ability to actively engage and lead in a team environment and compliance to protocols and procedures
- Proven ability to behave with respect and compassion
- Ability to build a good rapport with animals and have a friendly and patient nature
- Possess a professional and upbeat attitude
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and speak English fluently
