Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items to ensure a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to established standards
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly for guest use or hotel operations
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including washing stations and storage spaces
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages
- Support cleaning staff as needed to uphold overall cleanliness standards within the facility
Skills
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred but not required. Training will be provided
- Strong knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques
- Ability to operate laundry machines safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation
Pay: $17.60 per hour
