What you will do
- Act as a key UI/UX discipline leader and reference on one of our PC/Console projects, owning the quality, consistency and execution of the game’s UI/UX
- Design and deliver high-quality UI/UX interfaces from early concept to final in-game implementation
- Create advanced UI concept art to define the look, feel and overall UX
- Collaborate closely with Game Design, Art, Production and Programming teams to build a strong, scalable and immersive UI/UX
- Design wireframes, prototypes and user flows, test interactions and optimize the player experience
- Design interfaces with a strong focus on information hierarchy, accessibility, usability and modern UX standards
- Implement and maintain your own UI assets directly in the game engine
- Work hand-in-hand with UI programmers to ensure functional, optimized and production-ready UI systems
- Contribute to the evolution of UI/UX pipelines, standards and best practices
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior or intermediate UI/UX designers when needed
What you bring
- College or university diploma in Graphic Design, Game Art, Illustration or equivalent training
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, ideally on PC/Console titles
- Strong mastery of visual communication, design principles and UI/UX fundamentals
- Excellent hands-on artistic skills, from pre-visualization and concept art to final polish
- Strong creative thinking, problem-solving and innovation skills within UX constraints
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Solid experience working with Unreal Engine
- Ability to work across a wide range of styles and genres
- High level of autonomy and strong organizational skills
Even better if you have
- Experience with Figma or other UI prototyping tools
- Knowledge of UI motion graphics / animation
- Previous experience in an AAA or long-term production environment
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and deadlines
