Our client, a specialized company in decorative pavement and roadway solutions, is growing their team for the busy spring to fall season. This role offers steady, hands-on work during peak months and is a great fit for individuals who prefer seasonal work or take on other opportunities during the winter.
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity (seasonal), with strong potential for long-term growth. Candidates with leadership ability will have the opportunity to advance into a Crew Lead role as the team expands.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Travel to job sites across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island
- Perform decorative finishing on asphalt and concrete surfaces
- Assist with layout and execution based on project plans
- Operate equipment such as street heaters, compactors, and power tools
- Install specialty thermoplastics and surface coatings
- Mix, apply, and finish materials to high-quality standards
- Work with templates and specialized tools to create detailed surface patterns
What You Bring:
- Experience in concrete finishing, asphalt work, or similar construction roles
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors and travel to different job sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Interest in growing into a leadership role over time
